About Me

I am an English major with a double minor in French and philosophy. I hope to one day go to graduate school to get my doctorate in English and teach at the college level!

I like to stay involved on campus, so I'm involved in organizations like the Franklin Literary Society, Camerata Singers, Student Christian Association, and the Student Activities Board. One of my favorite organizations is the Red & Black student newspaper, and I'll be the publication manager for the 2017-2018 academic year. I'm also a LINK mentor for freshman students and a Resident Assistant.

My Magellan project was an incredible experience -- it helped me to grow academically and personally, and I learned how to rely on my own capabilities. While it can be scary and a little isolating at first, my experience abroad taught me new things about the world, other people, and myself.
